One Piece Odyssey is a 2023 JRPG developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco, representing the most ambitious narrative game in the One Piece franchise's history. The game follows the entire Straw Hat crew — including all members present in the post-timeskip era — as they are shipwrecked on the mysterious island of Waford after a massive storm powered by a strange energy. The crew loses their abilities and memories, scattered across a jungle island inhabited by a young girl named Lim and her companion Adio. To recover their powers, the Straw Hats must revisit fragments of their most important memories, reliving pivotal arcs from the anime including Alabasta, Water 7, Marineford, and Dressrosa — but with altered events and outcomes that create entirely new dramatic situations. The game's turn-based combat system is strategic and surprisingly deep, with character positioning, area-specific battles, and the unique Dramatic Scenes mechanic that creates dynamic mid-battle challenges.
